SlySer has already offered workshops twice for interested young people aged 10 to 14, who were able to tackle these problems together. And with great success: “Ahlener Rap-Schmiede” found approval. For this reason, it will be on 14/15 October (Fri, 16.00-19.00 and Saturday, 10.00-17.00) in the Dolberg youth room and on 11/12 November (also Fri, 16.00 to 19.00 and Saturday, from 10 : 00 to 17:00) in the Ahlen Youth Center East to make a “comeback” for the workshop format.
For those interested, the workshop weekends are there to try. Both dates take place independently of each other.
The content will cover rap and creative writing. Together, the participants work on the first lyrics and elaborate the basics of a hip-hop song. This is a great way to share experiences and try something new in two busy days.
The goal is that all participants can perform the works thus created and then record them.
The offer is a cooperation project of the cultural education coordination center of the city of Ahlen with the Dolberg youth room, the mobile youth work and the East youth center, funded under the “NRW Cultural Backpack”. The offer is free.
