Apparently someone in the Xiaomi developer community has created a new theme for MIUI that can present functions similar to the Dynamic Island iPhone 14 Pro series.

The video was uploaded via Twitter by a user with the @vvaiibhav account.

Seen in the video, the user is using the camera hole selfie (to drill) on the screen to accommodate notifications and audio playback controls. They are both in the upper left corner of the screen.

To drill is not visible because this black “Dynamic Island” background expands the notification panel and music player. The creator of the argument said that this feature is under consideration by Xiaomi.

If approved later, developer features can be accessed via MIUI themes. Even if it is not a seller’s creation smartphone, this is an attempt by Android developers to emulate the dynamic island of the iPhone.
