The artist, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, is referring to an incident during his concert on Saturday, where he was
Videos of the incident show the artist entering a covered hole, before falling and lying writhing in pain for several minutes.
In the video he has now posted on Twitter, he explains what happened:
– When we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitar and stand go down and there is a big hole. I turned and walked over and snorted hard, she says in the video.
Post Malone had to cancel the concert and leave the stage, but second TMZ he came back after 15 minutes to finish the concert.
This is despite the fact that he apparently was in a lot of pain and tightened his chest when he sang, the website writes.
In the video Malone posted on Twitter, it appears he was sent to the hospital after the accident.
– We just got back from the hospital and everything is fine. They gave me painkillers so I will continue the tour.
The artist also wishes to apologize to the audience who got a slightly different concert and thanks them for their patience.
– I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis and I want to thank you for coming. Next time I’m here I’ll have a two-hour show for you to make up for the few songs we’ve missed, she says.
