AndA bitch ate poisoned bait in Singen (Constance district) and died. As announced by the police on Sunday, the owner went for a walk with her ten-year-old dog on Monday. According to the police, the animal found the poisoned bait in a moment of carelessness and ate it – a few hours later he vomited and spat blood.
The owner visited her vet the next day. The bitch – a West Highland White Terrier – arrived at a veterinary clinic in Ravensburg. The doctors found that the organs were damaged and the bitch was poisoned. Her condition worsened so much overnight that she had to be put down. The police are now looking for witnesses.
