Juve suffered its first defeat in A league this season. Come to the office Monza in the seventh week the bianconeri fell 0-1.

The course of the game

Juventus immediately threatened from the start. Filip Kostic’s cross was successfully received by Angel Di Maria in the first minute, but his left-footed shot went wide of the goal.

Monza replied two minutes later. Nicolò Rovella, Juventus player on loan at Monza, fired a long-range shot but the ball moved to the left of Mattia Perin’s goal.

Armando Izzo also threatens Juventus in the 12th minute, but his header bounces off the net. The bianconeri react two minutes later, but also miss Dusan Vlahovic’s close-range shot.

Patrick Ciurria has a chance on 18 minutes, but his shot went wide on the right of Juventus’ goal. At 28 ‘Vlahovic had a golden opportunity in front of Monza’s goal, but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

Monza has not stopped pressing Juventus. Ciurria’s shot from outside the box in the 31st minute is still slightly outside Perin’s goal, while a similar shot by Stefano Sensi in the 32nd minute was blocked by the 29-year-old goalkeeper.

In the second half, Monza returns to being pressing. Rovella shoots from inside the penalty area in the 49th minute, but the ball is saved by Perin. A minute later, Gianluca Caprari’s long-range shot misses the target.

Danny Mota narrowly missed Monza in the 52nd minute after receiving a low cross from Ciurria, but his close-range shot ended wide on the right of Juventus’ goal.

Monza continues to attack Juventus. Christian Gytkjaer’s header in the 56th minute is still wide, while Carlos Augusto’s long-range shot in the 64th minute was secured by Perin.

Juventus’ defense finally broke in the 74th minute. A sharp cross from Ciurria is grabbed by Gytkjaer in front of goal and manages to beat Perin, dead. Monza won 1-0 and lasted until the end.
