Mário Rui has been called up by national team coach Fernando Santos for the final double matchday of the League of Nations group stage, against the Czech Republic (24 September) and Spain (27 September).
Napoli was called to replace Raphael Guerreiro, from Borussia Dortmund, deemed unsuitable by the USP (Health and Performance Unit) of the FPF.
Mário Rui, 31, played 11 matches for the national team.
