The U23 Chinese women’s team wins gold at the World Open Tug-of-War Championships in the Netherlands

The 2022 World Open Tug-of-war Championships will be held in the Netherlands. They are divided into open competitions and leagues. The former will compete in the form of clubs, while the championships will be organized by country. Taiwan scored 1 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze in open competition Three medals were earned, including Taiwan women’s 500 kg team gold medal, Taiwan U18 men’s 560 kg team silver medal and the bronze medal of the Taiwan U23 mixed youth team 560 kg.

The World Open Tug-of-War Championships entered the final day of the competition today, and the 600kg Taiwan U23 Men’s Youth Team finished seventh first.

The Taiwan U23 500kg women’s youth team continued their momentum of winning gold in the Open Championship a few days ago. They weren’t afraid of the rain on the spot. Today, the championship advanced into the top four with a full win. Taking the gold medal is also the second gold medal for the Chinese team in the championship.

The 540kg Taiwanese women’s team will play later and have the opportunity to add another medal for Taiwan.
