Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda, who now lives in Latvia, gave an extensive interview to journalist Katerina Gordeeva, among other things, told about her life in Latvia.
“We recently had a picnic with the children. The eldest daughter was so excited that I walked among the people, then I put a blanket, I put cucumbers, tomatoes,” says Svetlana Loboda on Jūrmala beach.
The singer explained that people on the beach didn’t recognize her – she was wearing a wide-brimmed hat: “Here, you see, people are very calm. Basically they respond very well to famous people.”
It is in Jūrmala, by the sea, that Svetlana Loboda feels at ease. She recalled the days of the New Wave and noticed that she too then thought she wanted to live here for a while: “I don’t know why. I really like the air. I really like the feeling of peace and security ”.
