The spread on the internet of the announcement for an outdoor music festival in a venue near the Asturias highway and the alert of the local authorities were the reasons that canceled this event scheduled for the entire weekend. The sequence of events was as follows.
An operation by the Civil Guard intervened on Thursday near the Asturias highway, which claimed to have interrupted the celebration of an electronic music festival in a place near La Venta de la Tuerta.
The festival, which was to be held for the whole weekend under the pretense of Música al satin, does not have the permission of the Municipality of Sariegos, where it was to be held.
As this newspaper learned, the event did not count as a mandatory authorization from the Junta de Castilla y León.
Consequently, the presence of the Forces and the security organs of the State became necessary, as confirmed by the Government Sub-delegation.
In the permit information agreement, approved this morning by the board of directors of the city council of Sariegos, it is stated that “the organization of a ‘private event’ requires the processing of a file, in which at least the exact location is specified. of the celebration and the number of participants, even if classified as ‘private’ and in which the activity and the exact time of completion are described in detail “.
The brief also calls into question the consideration of “private” since “in no case is any activity disseminated that is widespread in a generalized way, using social networks or any other means of mass dissemination”.
The agreement also concerns that “given the proximity of the state road, the Government Sub-delegation must also be notified, in the event that the assistance of the State Security Forces and Corps can be counted on”.
“The massive influx in a place affected by the Carretera de Asturias due to a little frequented place can be a dangerous element for the traffic itself”, the document cites, in which it is emphasized that the file “lacks the minimum elements for the Administration of the Junta de Castilla y León and of the Sub-delegation of the Government can pronounce and deliberate.
