And Konami announced Suikoden I and II HD Remaster this Friday (16), marking the return of the series to next-generation consoles. The release date is scheduled for 2023.
Both titles feature a wide range of enhancements, including high-definition artwork and updated effects, as well as a reworked soundtrack to further immerse players in this fantasy universe. Additionally, Battle SFX has been updated in HD and there’s a new autosave feature as well. Watch the trailer:
The Suikoden series debuted on PlayStation in 1995 in Japan, followed by Suikoden 2 in 1998. The third game was released in the land of the Rising Sun and North America in 2002, hitting the European PS Store in 2015.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster will be released for PS4Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
