BeReal is a social network that challenges people to post a photo of themselves when the app sends a notification.
Instagram is very interested in this and intends to launch a copy of BeReal.
On Insta, the feature would be called Candid and is still being tested. But the platform could speed things up given the money it could generate.
With Candid, Insta could, for example, push its users to access this feature when they want or send targeted advertising at the time of the challenge.
In addition to the financial interest, Instagram would also try, with this strategy, to face the competition of BeReal.
