The relegation from the third division seems to be back on the path of direct promotion, working at full capacity, has lost only one of the last nine games and has the most successful attack ever with 34 goals. Saliou Sané, who has scored seven goals and five assists in eleven games, played a key role in this. This actually says a lot about the role of the favorites, even if the FVI nevertheless won the cup semi-finals with 3: 1 against the then third division Würzburg team in March this year. The teams have changed a lot on both sides since then.
The new Würzburg manager, Marco Wildersinn, managed surprisingly quickly to form a unity between old and new players. FVI colleague Marco Konrad is also on track in this regard, despite the strong fluctuations: “We must not forget that there is not a single player left in the defensive chain from last season and we have been looking for important people in Max Zeller and Natsuhiko Watanabe for months must do without it.
