BT Sport was forced to apologize on the air after Celtic fans unveiled a banner reading “f *** the Crown”.
The Hoops were playing in Poland against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League clash, which ended 1-1.

After the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, all the British clubs that played in Europe this week were able to observe a minute of silence.
However, it was agreed that the silence would be removed for the Shakhtar vs Celtic match, even though the players wore black headbands as a sign of respect.
Shortly before kick-off, away fans unrolled the banner reading “F *** the crown”, on which the announcer apologized if any spectators were offended.
Then, as Champions League music played, they revealed another banner that read “Sorry for your loss, Michael Fagan”.
Michael Fagan gained notoriety in 1982 when he managed to scale the walls of Buckingham Palace and sneak into the queen’s bedroom.

In the match itself, it was a good performance from Celtic and they would have thought they should have taken all three points.
The Scottish champions had several chances even before Artem Bondarenko scored an own goal in the 10th minute after a penetration by Reo Hatate.
Shakhtar drew unexpectedly in the 29th minute after a pass from inside Josip Juranovic gave left winger Mykhaylo Mudryk a clear run for the goal.

Former Celtic winger Marian Shved had a goal disallowed for offside and forced a nice save from Joe Hart as Shakhtar enjoyed a rebound until half-time.
But Postecoglou’s side regained control immediately after half-time and substitutes Giorgos Giakoumakis and Daizen Maeda wasted the best of a number of chances.
