As part of its September program, the Burjassot Municipal Adult Library has scheduled the presentation of two books which will take place next Friday, September 16, starting at 19:00, in the House of Culture (Sala de Audiovisuales) of the municipality. . The presentation of both books will be attended by the mayor of Burjassot, Rafa García, and the Councilor for Culture and Youth, Javier Naharros, as well as a large group of representatives of the FECA CV (Federation of Andalusian entities in the Valencian Community). Thus, the president of the entity, Puri Torres López, will be present; the queen, Estrella Peiró and the lady, Leire Villarrazo, as well as other managerial positions and representatives of Andalusian houses in the community.
The two books that will be presented this literary afternoon are Senderos de luz y agua, a book of poems by the Andalusian author Francisca Arco Pérez and Mi Teatro, by the author, also Andalusian, Isabel Pérez Fernández and edited by the Granada Club editorial Selección. In the first of the books, her author, Francisca, clarifies that she has never forgotten her Granada roots and expresses, through her poems, some of her written about her in adolescence, her love for the land. her. Paths of light and water has two parts. The first is composed of a set of poems, while the second part is composed of two short skits in which Francisca uses phrases and words that she remembers from her hometown, Huétor, and from her surroundings, since she was small.
Isabel Pérez Fernández will instead present the book Mi Teatro, in which the author wanted to capture the essence of her theater and also contribute to the promotion of Andalusian culture. The book consists of three pieces, which have in common a funny and sometimes crazy tone. The first piece is called Luck, inspired by a rural town in the province of Córdoba, Algallarín, about a story that was once told to the author herself. The second work is Bar Café Los Rosales, a deeply Andalusian comedy that takes place in a cafe and, finally, La Casa de Doña Juana is a funny astracanada that takes place in the protagonist’s Andalusian house. The book also includes other plays, skits, stories and appetizers that Isabel also wrote with different plots.
