SEOUL, September 14 (Yonhap) – Li Zhanshu, China’s third highest official and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress, will visit the LG Science Park, an eight-story research and development (R&D) center LG Group subsidiaries in Magok, west of Seoul, on Friday as part of its three-day visit to South Korea, commercial sources said Wednesday.

Li will arrive in Seoul on Thursday with a government delegation of about 60 people, at the invitation of National Assembly President Kim Jin-pyo.

Brian Kwon, vice president of LG Corp., will join Li in introducing the LG Innovation Gallery, a showroom for the company’s future technologies and flagship products, including home appliances, robots, monitors and batteries.

Li plans to meet Kim and President Yoon Suk-yeol on the same day.
