Ajman, September 14 / WAM / Ajman’s Department of Economic Development has obtained the Quality Certificate in the Information Technology Services Management System ISO 20000-1: 2018 from Lloyd’s Register, for excellence in the management of its technical services, as well as to the quality of the technical solutions provided, which contribute to the development of an environment for doing business according to the best international standards followed in this field.
Yaqoub Al-Rasheed, Director of the Department’s Information Technology Department, said the department’s achievement of ISO 20000-1: 2018 certification confirms its willingness to apply the highest standards and adopt pioneering practices in the field of management of IT services and technical systems, which are an important element in the institutional development process For excellence and global leadership and to provide high quality services to achieve the happiness of all stakeholders, including customers, partners and employees .
He stressed that the department is constantly engaged in the development of the electronic and digital services it provides, in line with global standards and trends followed in this regard, as well as dedicating its efforts to digitization and the provision of advanced services through digital platforms that improve competitiveness in the business and investment sector and strengthen the confidence of the business community and greater efficiency, quality and effectiveness in the information technology sector.
ISO 20000-1: 2018 certification is the world’s first recognized international standard focused on IT service management, and is one of the world’s most prestigious and leading certifications in IT service management.
