In this morning’s issue, the Official Gazette published the decision of the Medicines Authority n. 55 of 2022 to add 18 pharmaceutical groups and their derivatives, analogues, esters, ethers, analogues, salts, esters and preparations, wherever they are found, to the second section of table no. 1 attached to the law on the fight against drugs and the regulation of their use and trafficking.
These groups included fentanyl, alpha-methylfentanyl, para-fluorofentanyl, beta-hydroxyphentanyl, beta-hydroxy-3-fentanyl, 3-methylfentanyl, para-fluorobutyryl fentanyl, orthofluorofentanyl, methoxyacetylfentanil, cyclopropylfentanilfentanil, 4 , Tetrahydrofuranilfentanil, Crotonilfentanil, Valerilfentanil.
The Medicines Authority stated that the substances mentioned in article no. 1 of its articles in the second section of attachment no. 1 are transferred to the group in the second section of attachment no. 1 because they are considered derivatives of this group.
