BREISACH
The hoteliers take stock
Breisach hoteliers have so far been satisfied with bed occupancy and room demand this year. But that does not mean that there is still no room for improvement. This mood is the result of a survey conducted by the Badische Zeitung among some accommodation providers in the city of Breisach. According to the owners’ feedback, the occupancy figures for the holiday apartments are good, reports Annette Senn, Breisach’s head of tourism.
MLLHEIM
The Brigade introduces itself
In 1990 the Franco-German Brigade was put into service, two years later the leadership of the brigade moved from Bblingen to Mllheim. The location’s 30th anniversary will be celebrated this Saturday, September 17, with an open day and a public appearance in the city center. The Friedensrat Markgrflerland criticizes him harshly, as does the existence of the brigade in general. For the first time in ten years, the appearance of the brigade members will not only be limited to the Robert Schuman barracks, but the anniversary will also be “celebrated with publicity” on Saturday in downtown Mllheim, according to the city website. The motto: “Soldiers in the city, citizens in the barracks”.
HEITERSHEIM
Destination of a monumental journey
The third day of the 2022 monument tour organized by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Regional Development and Housing (MLW) took the delegation of around 20 people to the Heitersheim Urban Villa. Minister Nicole Razavi (CDU) visited the districts of Stuttgart and Karlsruhe for a total of four days, while Secretary of State Andrea Lindlohr (Verdi) took over Tbingen and Freiburg. Since the Monument Protection Act has existed for 50 years, the travel motto was “True Values - Highlights of Monument Preservation”.
