Nintendo will hold a live presentation this week on games coming out this winter – Games – News

The Switch is too slow for a (large) number of games. It is time though:
1986: NES
1992: SNES
1997: Nintendo 64
2002: Gamecube
2006: Wii
2012: Wii U
2017: change
A new console every 6, 5 or even 4 years from now. So in 2022/2023: Switch sequel?

Also, there appears to be information that can be found in the software code on the DLSS support. The sequel to Breath of the Wild will be released next year, it is rumored that the name will be revealed tomorrow. It would therefore be a success to have the successor of Switch immediately, with support for (4K?) DLSS.
It would also make sense, because the rumors about a Switch Pro were persistent and the Switch OLED seems to be a sop, perhaps because the Switch 2 / PRO / Plus / HD / Premium wasn’t technically fully developed at the time and an upgrade model makes sense after a silence so long.

He has been quiet at Nintendo for a long time, hopefully there is good news. It’s been a long time since there was any news about Breath of the Wild’s successor, and it’s time for a new console. I don’t expect anything yet, because expectations were often high and then we were disappointed, but I think now is a good time to start the hype for next year.
