Škriniar at Inter is tempted by non-Christian money. Nobody has more – Other – Football – Sports

According to the SportMediaset portal, Inter Milan defender Škriniar will become the club’s highest paid player after extending his contract with the Serie A giant.

The current contract of the Slovak representative will expire in the summer, and he has been negotiating a new one with Inter for months.

Negotiations were put on hold in the summer when Škriniar emerged as the main transfer target for the Ligue 1 giants Paris St. Germain. However, Inter refused all offers from the billionaire team. He asked for at least € 70-80 million, which Paris refused to pay for a long time.

According to Sportmediaset, Inter is convinced that Škriniar will be signed in the coming weeks. He is said to make him the highest paid player in the club. According to the report, the Nerazzurri will offer Škriniar 7 million euros a year.

Currently only Romelu Lukaku has more, but the Belgian is on loan to Chelsea, which has taken his salary. However, the London club recently sacked coach Thomas Tuchel and it is possible that the gunner will return to AC Milan.

Inter are preparing for the Champions League match in Pilsen. It was Škriniar who was in the pre-match press and – understandably – the questions also focused on his future at the club. The native of Žiar nad Hronom already reacts a little irritated towards them.

“I’ve never talked about it and I’d rather it stay that way. We came here to play football and I don’t want to talk about my future and my contract. I don’t think this is the right time or place for that. When there’s something again, you will hear it from me and no one else, “he said.
