When it comes out in the final version scheduled for tonight, iOS 16 will leave some iPhones behind, including the first iPhone SE, iPhone 6s / 6s Plus, and iPhone 7/7 Plus. These smartphones have received many updates from iOS and will be able to continue their career end in iOS 15. As for, iPadOS 16 (release scheduled for next month) it will not be compatible with iPad mini 4 and iPad Air 2.
