Schalke’s goals were scored by Dominick Drexler (38 ‘), Erhan Masovic of Bochum with an own goal (73’) and Sebastian Polter (90 ‘+ 6’). Meanwhile Philipp Hofmann had scored the equalizer for Bochum (51 ‘).
In the afternoon, RB Leipzig won 3-0 against Borussia Dortmund. It was the first match for the new Leipzig manager, Marco Rose. TSG Hoffenheim are overtaking Dortmund in the standings. Thanks to a 4-1 win against FSV Mainz 05, Hoffenheim are now second level on points with Bayern Munich.
Bayern have not scored more than 2-2 against VfB Stuttgart, but remain at the top of the table for the moment. However, SC Freiburg could beat the record champions tomorrow with a draw and Union Berlin could still beat them.
