Next Monday, King William Alexander will visit Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, along with Queen Máxima and Princess Beatrice. This was announced by the government information service.
Elizabeth died on Thursday at the age of 96. “We remember Queen Elizabeth II with deep respect and great affection,” said the Dutch royal family in response to her death.

When Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth, died last year at the age of 99, Willem-Alexander, Máxima and Beatrix were also present at the funeral.

Elizabeth’s funeral will take place on Monday 19 September at Westminster Abbey in London. The day before there will be a minute of silence in the UK at 8pm.
