The dawn of the universe is a very popular topic among researchers and now they are turning to the Little Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, to decipher other secrets. According to scientists, it has the same composition as the Milky Way, making it ideal for comparative studies to understand the early days of our universe.
The Hubble Space Telescope has discovered a number of young stars at the center of a huge star cluster called NGC 346, according to Live Science. By observing the formation of new stars, the scientists concluded that the process is very similar to how celestial bodies are formed in the Milky Way.

This conclusion is supported by the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope.
Formative or relatively young stars have been found in spiraling spirals at the center of galaxies and the outer arms of the spiral have been found to be ideal birthplaces for star formation.
The observations recorded by NGC 346 will now be applied to the study of the Milky Way and can tell us a lot about what the universe was like about 2-3 billion years ago.

“The stars are machines that sculpt the universe. We wouldn’t have life without the stars, but we don’t fully understand how they formed, ”study leader Elena Sabi of the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore told Live Science.
“We have many models that make predictions and some of these predictions are contradictory. We want to determine what governs star formation, because these are laws that we also need to understand what we saw in the early universe. “
