Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday 8 September 2022 at around 12:32 a.m. at Balmoral Castle, Scotland. Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96.
King Charles III arrived at Buckingham Palace on Friday 9 September, all around 2pm. Soon after returning from Balmoral Castle in Scotland. He was accompanied by Camilla, he was his wife.
The arrival of King Charles was welcomed by the inhabitants who had packed the Buckingham Palace place considering that morning. Charles is scheduled to give an official speech as king and broadcast on television.
