Regenerating all buildings in the historic center of San José that are underused or abandoned, to build flats or homes, would aid solve the capital’s security challenges, according to Roberto Guzmán, director of ChepeCletas.

What is the target of the program that aims to regenerate the buildings of the Historic Middle of San José?

We absolutely agree with the initiative as a lot of buildings were still left vacant right after the pandemic and the greatest way to combat insecurity is with a lot more people today going for walks close to the metropolis and dwelling below, not more law enforcement. Now, the entrepreneurs require to be incentivized to invest in these properties so that they can make much better use of the land.
