Formal: Taarabt closes with Benfica

Benfica and Adel Taarabt have terminated their “mutual settlement” contract, the club knowledgeable.

The Moroccan intercontinental arrived in Luz in July 2015 but did not enjoy any matches that time. In subsequent seasons the midfielder was loaned to Genoa and returned to the Reds in 2018.

Taarabt commenced the 2018/19 period in Serie B – played seven games – and was rehabilitated by Bruno Lage. Because then, the Maghreb have often been a fixture in Benfica’s first crew, obtaining performed 122 online games.

Outside of Schmidt’s programs, Taarabt greets the club with two titles.
