FROGNER (Dagbladet): On Thursday, the stage is set for the annual Aschehoug garden party, and several famous faces from the country’s cultural elite and big stars have come to Oslo’s Frogner to attend.
Racing against the food giant
The publisher is known for its wild garden parties and several celebrities have previously described the whole thing with this “you are nothing until you are invited there”.
Dagbladet spoke to many of the party’s famous guests.
– He must have done something wrong
Radio presenter and personality Sandeep Singh (36) was one of the first to arrive at the party. He could tell that it had been eight years since he had been here last.
– It’s been eight years since the last time, suddenly there were no more invitations, so I must have done something wrong, Singh jokes, and continues:
– Expectations are good food, nice people and good drinks.
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (62) also made the trip to the back garden. He tells Dagbladet that it was especially important for him to come tonight.
– I thought it was important to come this year because this is Salman Rushdie’s publishing house that was attacked. It was important for me to defend free speech, Støre told Dagbladet.
– What is your best memory from previous garden parties?
– It wasn’t a wild party for me here, says Støre.
Noman Mubashir (48) met with former Minister of Culture Abid Raja (46). The two have several fond memories of previous holidays.
– The best party of the year! Says Mubashir, to which Raja agrees:
– It’s a fantastic meeting and we can finally organize this kind of party again.
There is one incident in particular that Raja remembers well:
– I remember having to take Noman out of the party once, says Raja with a laugh.
The shocking change of brother Ingebrigtsen
Robert Stoltenberg (57) is also present at the garden party.
– It is very important to take a shower before going to a party, not everyone has learned that, he jokes to Dagbladet.
– More fun if someone makes a scandal!
Comedian Lisa Tønne (44) met up with VG journalist Morten Hegseth (36).
The duo were able to say that they did not have high expectations for the evening, apart from having fun.
– I think it’s more fun if someone makes a scandal! Says Hegseth.
New stars Filip Bargee Ramberg, Ina Dajanna Ervik and Mathias Storhøi, from Netflix’s “Royalteen”, appeared at their first Aschehoug party.
– It will certainly be a lot of fun and a nice atmosphere, let’s say all three.
– Who do you think you are most struck by the stars to see?
– There are so many people here, so there are probably a lot that will be fun to see! Says an enthusiastic Ramberg.
Erlend Elias is also present (40). He says he has many fond memories of the garden party and is ready for what he calls an “adult party”.
– It’s so good to be here at an adult party! I’ve been to a lot of youth parties lately, so today I feel like I can be “me”.
Notes on marital status
Influencer Sophie Elise (27) can also be seen on the evening’s red carpet.
Here’s what he says about his expectations for the evening:
– It would have been nice if someone else besides me could create a scandal!
Recently, the blogging queen shared several cryptic hints on the social media she’s dating.
– Do you have anyone in your sights?
– Yes, I have appointments and I enjoy it. He’s here tonight, the influencer may reveal to Dagbladet.
