Picture of the day: IC 4592 – Blue Horsehead Nebula

Many thanks to the normal worsening of the evening climate, old raw astrophotos that have been collected occur to mild, which are quite tricky to procedure, or are “waiting around for the subsequent calendar year”.

IC 4592 – The Blue Horsehead Nebula is considerably less recognised than the classic Orion Horsehead Nebula, and they are basically very distant from every single other, practically on reverse sides of the sky.

While the Orion constellation rises somewhat significant in the winter, the Blue Horsehead Nebula is found in the constellation of Scorpio, which is reduced in the summer season.

The bluish glow of the Blue Horsehead Nebula is a reflection nebula illuminated by a star, but there are also stars floating in the nebula.

Further from the light-weight, the molecular cloud is also part of the Ophiuchus cloud.

The recording was manufactured in Namibia in 2018. An ordinary of 100 90-second illustrations or photos was taken with a 135mm telephoto lens.
