How to add a “Personal Add” sticker to your reels
Instagram just integrated a cool feature for content creators who produce Reels. From now on it is possible to add an “Add Yours” sticker to a Reel, in order to invite other users to publish a Reel using this sticker, thus launching new “trends”. . Note that this sticker is already available for stories from last year.
It only takes a few steps to add a sticker to your Reel (see featured image above):
- Open the Instagram app, then tap the “+” sign, located at the top right, and choose Coilin the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen,
- Record your video or upload content to create your Reel, then click following,
- Next, press the square shaped pictogram with a smiley face, which can be found in the menu that appears at the top of the screen (4th icon),
- Click on Personal additionthen name the sticker and press Concluded,
- You can move the sticker wherever you want on your reel.
All reels using this sticker will appear in a content library. This makes it easier to find the created videos, but also to credit the user behind the sticker.
More new features for your reels
Instagram also announced some cool new features regarding the reels:
- Turn stories into reels: multiple archived stories can be selected to automatically create a reel.
- Crosspost reels on Facebook: now you can share a Reel on Instagram and Facebook at the same time. When posting a reel on Instagram, all you have to do is click Share the reel on Facebook to cross it on the platform.
- Access detailed statistics for Facebook Reels: Get more statistics on the performance of video content posted on Facebook, such as reach, average watch time, and total watch time.
- Monetize content with the feature Stars : This option allows users to post Stars to content creators to show their support. These Stars can be purchased directly under the reels of eligible creators, who will receive $ 0.01 per Star.
