The success of the Leeuwarden Wandering Forest usually means that other metropolitan areas at household and overseas are now also intrigued in the undertaking. This is what Bosk’s artistic director Bruno Doedens suggests.
The venture, which was an important portion of Arcadia’s considerable cultural pageant, concluded on Sunday evening. Nevertheless, Doedens does not intend to just repeat the venture in Leeuwarden somewhere else.
“They straight away consider: we want a forest like this also,” claims Doedens of the cities involved. “Technically it is also feasible, for the reason that we have demonstrated it here. But it has to be extra than that.”
By this, Doedens refers to the fundamental notion of teaching people today about the purpose of character and how to offer with it. He is proud that hundreds of Leeuwarden schoolchildren now know far more about the challenge.
Out of town
On the other hand, the art director would have appreciated to be a lot more active out of town. That such a thing did not perform was partly due to the crown and the demise of initiator Joop Mulder, who usually would have made use of his vast network for it.
The fact that the undertaking is finished makes Doedens a minor gloomy. “It was a superb adventure, so melancholy is part of it.”
