Two actors from Un posto al sole announced the death of actress Carmen Scivittaro. Walter Melchionda, who in the long-lived Rai3 soap, plays Luigi Cotugno and Alberto Rossi who is Michele Saviani in UPAS. Melchionda posted a final greeting on Facebook: “Dear Teresa, Rest In Peace. Carmen Scivittaro’s career from theater to Un posto al sole
Carmen Scivittaro, even before arriving on the set of the Neapolitan soap Un posto al sole, had worked a lot in the theater. Among the plays that she had embellished with her talent was Roberto De Simone’s Cinderella Cat, Raffaele Viviani’s Father’s Job and Lello Serao’s Ceneri di Beckett. Then, starting from 1998, she had taken on the role of Teresa Diacono, keeping this role from episode 420 to episode 5007. In 2018, due to some problems related to her family, she decided to retire.
