Laboratories confirmed some 570 new cases of COVID-19 this Saturday, which is 51 more than the same day last week.
Sources from the Ministry of Health indicate that this is the first weekly increase since the beginning of July. However, the number of people hospitalized for COVID continues to decline.
As of Saturday there were 854 COVID patients in Czech hospitals, with around 30 of them in critical condition.
The seven-day incidence rate was 117 cases per hundred thousand inhabitants on Saturday. The largest number of infected is in Prague.
