Otávio and David Carmo are pieces that are part of Sérgio Conceição’s strategy for the visit to Vizela, but if in relation to the midfielder his inclusion in the eleven is practically certain, probably to replace Danny Namaso, a young Englishman who started in the first two official matches of the season, in the defense axis, the FC Porto coach did not dispel doubts, playing… in defence.
Marcano has been in very good shape alongside Pepe, he scored in the 5-1 rout against Marítimo and if he plays he will add to the 500th game as a professional. However, after the match against Vizela, the first great classic of the season follows, with Sporting, on the 20th, at Estádio do Dragão. In theory, this is the perfect time to launch David Carmo, after two challenges to fulfill suspension, even though he played last week for the B team, in a commitment with Covilhã.
The duo Pepe/David Carmo will, sooner or later, become definitive.
