Oppo will launch its first tablet Oppo Pad Air to Indonesia on August 15, 2022, in conjunction with the launch of the Oppo Reno 8 Series entitled “Reno 8 Series Exclusive Launch”.
“The Oppo Pad Air will soon be available in Indonesia. This is the first Oppo tablet,” said Oppo Indonesia PR Manager Aryo Meidianto.
Aryo revealed that the reason Oppo was late in presenting tablets in Indonesia was because Oppo wanted to see the target market in Indonesia first.
“If yesterday we introduced tablets when many brands were importing tablets (to Indonesia), maybe Oppo was betting on the tablet market. But now that we see the market clearly, IoT is growing rapidly, then the need also exists, so we entered the tablet market ,” said Arya.
Oppo Pad Air carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset which is energy efficient and targets the mid-range market. Uniquely, the Oppo Pad Air will connect with other Oppo devices. For example with the Oppo Reno 8 phone which will be released on August 15 next.
The Oppo Pad Air tablet in Indonesia has supporting accessories such as a stylus (digital pen), keyboard, and protective cover.
The launch event will be broadcast online on August 15, 2022 at 12.00 WIB, through the YouTube channel and the official Oppo Indonesia social media page.

Finally Oppo launched its cheap tablet Oppo Pad Air that targets the entry level market and the TWS Enco R which is an affordable pair of wireless earbuds with 13.4mm drivers and a combined 24-hour battery life.
The Oppo Pad Air features a 10.36-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2000x1200px and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
The tablet features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos for multimedia consumption. As the name implies Air, the tablet offers a light weight and fits in the hand at only 440 grams.
Oppo Pad Air carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage media that can be expanded via microSD.
