Xiaomi introduced the 52 kg humanoid robot CyberOne

The Chinese company Xiaomi presents its humanoid robot CyberOne. This is not the company’s first robot that should imitate a living being, in the past it has already introduced an electronic dog CyberDog. The novelty is 177 cm tall and weighs 52 kg, the manufacturer even assigned him the sign of the zodiac, thanks to the time of the show it is a lion. The face of the robot is made of a flexible OLED display. It has sensors for the perception of space in 3D and a pair of microphones. It has a total of 21 joints, is able to recognize 45 human emotions (the question is, of course, how successfully) and 85 environmental meanings.

In addition, he is said to be able to learn new skills. The artificial intelligence system was built on software from the robotics division of Xiaomi Robotics Labs. It can hold a weight of 1.5 kg in one hand. The price is said to be between 600 and 700 thousand Chinese yuan (2.1 to 2.4 million CZK). However, it is not yet sold and is still under development. As for the competing robot Tesla Optimus, it should be shown in a working prototype on September 30 at Tesla AI Day.
