JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Daily Chief of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Benny Mamoto admitted that he did not intend to deceive the public in the murder case of Brigadier Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
“I have no intention of deceiving the public, in contrast to my intention of deceiving the public, it means that I cooperate,” said Benny in a conversation on the Rosi Kompas TV program, Thursday (11/8/2022).
According to Benny, his statement which said, “There are no irregularities in the case of Brigadier J’s death,” was obtained from an official source, namely the South Jakarta Police.
He also believes that the South Jakarta Police Chief, Kombes Budhi Herdi Susianto, who was asked to clarify the case has integrity and does not have a special record in his track record in the police.
However, after the development of the investigation carried out by the special team, Benny deeply regretted that Budhi was part of Inspector General Sambo’s scenario.
This release was later denied after a special team formed by the National Police Chief found that there was no shooting incident as stated in the initial statement.
The actual fact is that Brigadier J was shot by Bharada E using a firearm belonging to Bripka Ricky on the orders of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
Inspector General Ferdy Sambo also made a scenario by shooting at the wall as if a gunfight had taken place at his official residence.
“I hoped for more complete information from the person in charge, who in fact heard the witnesses and processed the crime scene. But it turned out that he was part of a scenario, and made me a victim,” said Benny.
