Minya al-Qamh center in Sharkia governorate witnessed this Thursday evening, the collapse of the al-Aziziya village bridge, while a number of people passed it.
In the details, Major General Mohamed Salah, Director of Eastern Security, received a notification of the incident, and the competent authorities and ambulances moved to the location of the communication to examine it and determine the circumstances of the incident.
The collapse of the Azizia Bridge, affiliated to the Minya al-Qamh Center in Sharqia, was revealed, and the people were able to pull 3 people out of the waters of the Moise Sea.
Eyewitnesses explained that the people were able to pull out 3 people, including a woman, but she was carrying a child while she was passing over the bridge at the moment of its collapse, and the rescue teams continue to search for the child.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Aziziya bridge bridge was connecting the east and west of the village, and it was built more than 150 years ago, during the era of the English occupation of Egypt. The bridge was decorated with ancient statues.
