A black year
It hasn’t been a great year for supercar owners this current one. If you have followed us for a while you will have seen that the news regarding accidents involving the most popular cars of the drivers, supercars and luxury Hypercars, have increased. We had a couple of them in England a few months agoone in California with a Lambo as the protagonist… and now this.
The last disastrous crash that reduced a famous – and very rare – supercar to a 1: 1 scale assembly kit unfortunately happened right here in Italy: yes, even in the homeland of Ferrari the cars of the Cavallino par excellence can come to a bad end. And as usual, these are not images that are good for the heart of a true fan of the house.
The accident that took place in these days unfortunately has as its protagonist a rather rare car, produced in only 799 unique specimens by the Maranello house, famous for caring for the exclusivity of its specimens. We wonder if this unfortunate owner will end up on the Black List of the brand seen what happened.
Gone for fratte
The accident took place in Verona on an extra-urban road just outside the town: the dynamics are not clear but the images are: a very rare Ferrari F12TDF she went off the road hitting the saplings of a vineyard located at the edge of the road. It is difficult to understand what went wrong given that the Carabinieri arrived on the spot have not yet issued a statement.
Perhaps it was the lack of a Guard Rail that cost the pilot dearly. Perhaps controlling a car with nearly 800 horsepower capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 in just 2.9 seconds is not as simple as it seems in racing video games. The fact is that the result you can see it in the video that we leave you attached below.
The pilot apparently is fine. At the moment. Wait for the coachbuilder to present the bill: with a price of 350,000 Euros when new, the F12TDF is one of those cars you would like to keep. as far away as possible out of trouble for not having to open a mortgage in repairs. At least, the engine was saved.
