JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Daily Chief of Kompolnas Inspector General (Ret.) Benny Mamoto understands the public’s complaints against Kompolnas.
Benny also understands the public anger awaiting the murder of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
According to him, public anger was not only targeted at him, but also at the Police who were very slow in uncovering the case of Brigadier J.
When this case was released by the National Police Headquarters, he and a member of Kompolnas Poengky Indarti went to the South Jakarta Police to clarify the issues circulating regarding the death of Brigadier J.
“We came to the police chief and asked about the handling of the case, the reconstruction, who was invited from the puslabfor Polri until I confirm this has been done. clear,” said Benny on the program Rosi KOMPAS TVThursday (11/8/2022).
Furthermore, Benny acknowledged the impression that Kompolnas was only a public relations officer for the South Jakarta Police and tended to defend Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
However, Benny ensured that Kompolnas was always in a neutral position, not taking sides.
“We can only clarify that the answer is a lie, he was transferred or disabled. I didn’t stop there, after that I came to Jambi,” said Benny.
While in Jambi, he heard directly from Brigadier J’s family regarding complaints and requests for this case to be opened openly.
“So when I was asked for a response from the media, of course I had to refer to an official source. Not through social media, I took the official source from the Police,” said Benny.
Previously, Benny Mamoto’s statement explaining that there were no irregularities in the case of Brigadier J’s death went viral on social media.
The statement became a public spotlight and assessed that Kompolnas was defending Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, a suspect in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.
