In December 2019, a KMB crashed on Fanling Highway. The bus lost control and crashed into a tree, resulting in 6 deaths and 39 injuries. The family of one of the deceased, Su Lixiong, filed a lawsuit in the High Court yesterday (11th), claiming compensation from the driver and KMB, but the filing did not specify the amount of the claim.

The plaintiff is Wu Weibao, the undertaker of the estate of the deceased Su Lixiong, and the defendants are the driver of the accident, Wen Zhiguang, and Kowloon Bus (1933) Co., Ltd. Wu Zai filed a complaint alleging that the driver, Wen Zhiguang, had a fatal car accident while driving on Fanling Highway near Song Bailang on December 18, 2019. He believes that the two defendants were negligent, violated their duty of care or violated statutory responsibilities, causing Su Lixiong to be involved in the car accident. Death, the two defendants are required to pay compensation with principal and interest.
