FC Erzgebirge Aue suffered their first defeat of the season on Wednesday, losing 1-0 to SV Waldhof Mannheim.
After the half-time whistle it was goalless in the cabins. When the referee blew the whistle, Waldhof finally claimed a 1-0 home win.
With the success in their pockets, the hosts have moved up the rankings and are now fourth in the table.
Even if the season is still young: A look at the table is not very pleasant for Aue. After the defeat, the guest only ranked 14th. Three games and still no win: FC Erzgebirge Aue is still waiting for the first sense of achievement.
For Mannheim, things continue on Sunday at SV Meppen. Aue will be challenged again on Sunday when SV Wehen Wiesbaden is a guest.
