On Wednesday afternoon, the emergency services went to Helga Helgesen’s place on Grønland in Oslo, where a young man had suffered serious injuries.
– We are in contact with a person who has what appear to be stab/impact injuries, the police say.
The man is treated by an ambulance and appears conscious, but seriously injured. The injured person is a young man over 18.
– We are in the area with many patrols. In addition, we are searching the local area at the same time as we are working with information from witnesses, informs the police.
Multiple perpetrators
At 17.12 the police inform that there may have been several perpetrators and several victims. Two men were seen running from the scene.
– The immediate investigation so far indicates that there have been several perpetrators who have attempted to attack two victims. The other victim is in contact with the police at the scene. He is physically unharmed.
It is too early to say anything about the background to the violence case.
No one arrested
No one has yet been arrested, and it is unclear which object was used to inflict the injuries on the victim.
– We do not have details about which weapon was used, but we assume that a weapon was used. There is no control over the weapon used, operations manager Rune Hekkelstrand tells TV 2.
There were many witnesses to the incident, whom the police are now working to interview.
