The head of the Syndicate of Importers of Medical Devices and Supplies, Salma Assi, revealed that “there is a problem in importing dialysis supplies, and transfers do not take place.”
In an interview with MTV, she wished “the Ministry of Health and the Bank of Lebanon should find a solution,” saying: “We are unable to import in light of the current situation.”
Assi stated that “the existing dialysis supplies are sufficient only until the end of August,” noting that “the goods for heart patients are unknown who benefits from them, and we suggested transferring them directly to patients.”
