In Centre-Val de Loire, there are 240.10 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants during the period from July 31 to August 6 (cagainst 397.20 last week and 676 the previous week). In details :
- 218.60 in Eure-et-Loir (against 371.90);
- 245.50 in the Cher (against 385.30);
- 243.20 in Loir-et-Cher (against 442.90);
- 274.40 in Indre (against 429.70);
- 241.80 in Loiret (against 374.70);
- 236.90 in Indre-et-Loire (against 410.30).
The positivity rate is decreasing

In Centre-Val de Loire, the positivity rate stands at 23.40% during the period from July 31 to August 6 (versus 26,90% last week).
The number of intensive care patients is decreasing
In its bulletin, the Regional Health Agency reports 41 people in intensive care and critical care in the Centre-Val de Loirei.e. one less person since the last report dated August 2.
- 4 in Eure-et-Loir (+1);
- 24 in Loiret (stable) ;
- 7 in Indre-et-Loire (stable);
- 1 in Loir-et-Cher (-3);
- 1 in Indre (+1);
- 4 in the Cher (-5).
Conventional hospitalizations in freefall
387 people are hospitalized in the Centre-Val de Loire, i.e. 18 fewer people since the August 2 report, including:
- 38 in Eure-et-Loir (-14);
- 121 in Loiret (+17);
- 71 in Cher (-13);
- 22 in Indre (-7);
- 78 in Indre-et-Loire (-5);
- and 57 in Loir-et-Cher (-+4).

From now on, in its new bulletin, the ARS no longer indicates the number of deaths linked to Covid-19.
On the testing side:
In the week of July 31 to August 6, 26,330 people were tested across the region. Among them, 6,158 tested positive for Covid-19.
As for vaccines:
As of August 7, 2022, 30.70% of those aged 60 and over (eligible regional population), received their 2nd booster doseor 236,801 people.
