The A youth footballers of 1. FC Heidenheim are ready for the start of the season in the 1. Bundesliga South/Southwest. In the last friendly of the pre-season, the FCH youth team drew 2-2 against the U19s of record champions FC Bayern Munich last Saturday.
In the sporting dress rehearsal against Munich, Alperen Nehir scored a 1-0 lead for 1. FC Heidenheim on the Schlossberg in the eighth minute. After Luka Klanac equalized for FCB, Luka Petrovic put the hosts ahead again at the beginning of the second half (48′). Arijon Ibrahimovic equalized for Bayern in the final quarter of an hour.
Bundesliga opener against Astoria Walldorf
In the previous test games, the Heidenheimer suffered a few defeats. The FCH juniors lost to FC Augsburg (1:3), TSV 1860 Munich (0:2) and the men’s team of TSV Essingen (0:1).

This Saturday, Heidenheim will start the new Bundesliga season with a home game against Astoria Walldorf (1 p.m.). For the FCHler it is the sixth season in a row that they are contesting in the A youth Bundesliga. In the previous season, the team of coach Timm Fahrion took twelfth place in the table.
