Jakarta (ANTARA) – The “Delete Message” feature on WhatsApp is known to now take up to two days to ensure that messages are completely deleted.
The feature previously didn’t take long to get rid of messages and only took a short time.
“Rethinking your message? Now you have to think extra because it takes more than two days to delete your message after it was sent,” tweeted the official account @WhatsApp via its official Twitter, quoted Tuesday.
So now you can’t send random messages or emoticons to other users because it takes a long time for the message to disappear.

The update takes effect on the latest version of the app.
There is also the “Delete Message” feature that previously applied to conversations with other individuals or in groups.
If you frequently access this feature, you must be familiar with “Delete for Everyone” and “Delete for Me”.
Still, WhatsApp’s “Delete Message” feature is still superior when compared to its competitor, Apple’s iMessage, which doesn’t have a similar feature.
Even though Apple has developed the latest operating system iOS 16, it still doesn’t want to release this feature on its latest iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Even the iOS 16 beta, which is still being tested, has a sticker removal feature with a maximum duration of two minutes after being sent by the user.
On the positive side, users now really have to think about conveying their messages via WhatsApp so that it is not wrong or embarrassing considering that the message can only be completely deleted after two days of using the feature.
