Pay TV broadcaster Sky has the rights to broadcast all 63 games live. Instead of the previous 13, 15 games will be shown live on free TV from 2022/23, including the two semi-finals and the final. ARD and ZDF share these rights. ZDF is thus back in the DFB Cup business after more than ten years of a cup “broadcast break”.
