TNI Responds to Serda Ucok’s Video Searching for the Killer of Brigadier J: It’s a Battle of Sheep

Army Army (TNI AD) responding to the circulation of videos of people confessing Serda Ucok who is ready to help the country to find the killer Brigadier J. One of the videos was uploaded by the tiktok account @mursyid.adam.

“The video of Serda Ucok’s statement claiming that he is ready to help the state to find the killer of Brigadier J on the @mursyid.adam tiktok account is a video containing lies and attempts to fight between the TNI and the National Police,” said Head of Dispenad Brigadier General Tatang Subarna in a written statement, Tuesday (9/8). ).

He said that currently the Indonesian Army has collaborated with the Police and other related institutions to trace and hold accountable for the circulation of the video on the TikTok account.

“Hopefully the public will not be provoked by the fake videos circulating on social media about Serda Ucok’s statement,” he said.

Serda Ucok is a member of Kopassus who was tried for killing four prisoners at the Cebongan Penitentiary, Sleman, 2013 ago.

In the video circulating, there is a voice narration from a man who claims to be Serda Ucok and states that he is ready to help the state in finding the killer of Brigadier J.

“Really we can’t bear to see a country like this struggling and running out of energy to catch Joshua’s killer. We feel called for justice,” the video was quoted as saying.

So far, the police have named two people as suspects in the case of Brigadier J’s death, namely Bharada E and Brigadier Ricky.

Bharada E was charged with Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile Brigadier Ricky Rizal was charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

The National Police also placed the former Head of the Propam Police Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, to a special place, namely to the Mobile Brigade Headquarters for further investigation related to the murder case. The police suspect that Sambo has violated the procedure in this case.
