Already this weekend, the cello trio “Melo-M” will play music with a music program dedicated to Liepāja in the “Pūt, vējiņi” concert garden – it will take place on August 14.
At the “Melo-M” concert, the cellists will perform such well-known songs from Liepāja as the hits “Dzimtā valoda”, “Dzejnieks” and music from the movie “Pūt vējiņi” by the group “Līvu”. Also, the repertoire will include pieces composed by the group’s leader Kārlis Auzāns from the Liepāja theater performances “Piafa”, “1984”, “Ziloņcilvēks” and “More than life / Theater”. “Melo-M” cellists Kārlis Auzāns, Miķelis Dobičins and Jānis Pauls will perform at the concert, while Miķelis Vīte will play percussion instruments.
